(Sales) Applause, Applause …….. to Riverside Marina and Yacht Sales, its owner and staff, for making the purchase and ownership of our new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379 a most pleasant and memorable experience. From our initial visit to our exciting Red Carpet Delivery, Riverside proved itself to be a client oriented sailing center. Glenn Winter, the owner, uses his expert sailing experience to match the client to the correct model, and then to customize each vessel perfectly. And, as an owner who cares, he is always available and also hands-on, to be sure that all questions and concerns are addressed. His staff and service department are as generous with their time and expertise, and as new owners, we were always informed about paperwork, servicing, and performance of the craft and its electronics. Riversides promise to be with us on land and on sea is the extra incentive that assures that we will be loyal customers, and friends, for our next purchase, which Glenn predicts. Happy Sailing!

(Sales) My wife and I attended the 2012 Annapolis Sailboat Show as newcomers to the sailing community, excited to locate the type of boat that might meet our tastes and budget. We enjoyed the experience of seeing so many unique vessels up close, and also the opportunity to compare them easily on all the subjective qualities that you just cant get your mind around when viewing a spec sheet. After many hours of boarding boats, we whittled down the list to a single boat that we thought was just about perfect for us – the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 439. We found all aspects of that boat – the looks, cockpit, sail plan, spacious salon, generous sleeping space, 2 heads – all very much to our liking. This was aided by the presence of a very well-appointed boat on display at the show by Riverside Yacht Sales. After some confusing discussions with other sales brokers, and our quick recognition of the highly competitive nature of yacht sales, it became apparent that Riverside not only had the right vessel and the right deal for my wife and I, but that the Riverside family also possessed the INTEGRITY that was vitally important to us as new boat buyers. The assistance they provided to help us consummate the deal was the key to us getting the boat we wanted at a fair price. And, they made the whole experience pleasurable by treating us like family. Best

(Blog) Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy the historical perspective found in the articles written by Lynn Whitney. I hope that more articles are forthcoming. I bet Lynn would do well by publishing a book on the subject. I am new to this section of the Delaware and look forward to exploring some of the areas described by Lynn. I am much more familiar with the river between Burlington and Bordentown. There is much history to be found there as well, including the Quaker founding of Burlington, the little known naval battle that took place in 1778 off Fieldsboro and the burning of ships in Bordentown by the British, to name just a few. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to read the next installment.

Everyone at Riverside Yachts was stellar, taking their time & being so patient, enduring the cold. You have a great team! Thanks we enjoyed the day!
