2009 Hunter 45 Deck Salon

The 2009 Hunter 45DS Sloop features one forward master cabin and one aft master cabin with full bulkheads for privacy. The forward cabin features a large Pullman berth to port with storage below, a vanity with sink, cabinets and a hanging locker to starboard. Forward in the bow area is a compartment with marine head and shower. The main salon has a large U-shaped tan leather settee to port with a finely finished wood dining table (that converts to a large queen+ berth) and a tan leather straight settee to starboard. The galley is to port with a double stainless steel sink, numerous storage cabinets, a three burner LPG stove with oven, a LG microwave with coffee maker, a dish drying cabinet, a below counter 12 volt refrigerator and a below cabinet 12 volt freezer. To starboard is the chart table and the ships main DC/AC power panels, VHF radio, Garmin GPS and generator controls. Below the chart table seat is the Panda P-6000 generator. Aft to starboard is the entrance to the aft head with sink, toilet and enclosed shower stall. The aft cabin features a large centerline queen berth with cabinets and a hanging locker on the starboard side. To the port is a tan leather lounge chair and forward is a small dressing mirror and cabinet. On deck she has a large cockpit with a centerline folding table, two helm stations, large cockpit seats and stern rail corner seating. There is a dodger with macrolon view panels and a full bimini with side panels.

Above decks the 45DS is very easy to navigate. The large, oval shaped cockpit provides enough room for the entire crew yet keeps everything within easy reach of the helm for solo or short handed sailing.  High coaming backs, long bench seats and stern rail seats offer comfort under sail and while entertaining dockside.  The walk thru transom provides easy access to the swim platform and dinghy.  All lines lead aft for safe, easy sailing.

Her wide side decks offer easy access fore and aft making docking and anchoring a breeze.  Forward is a large anchor locker with a double bow roller and electric anchor windlass.

The Hunter 45 has redefined the DS concept with a bright and open salon. The Glenn Henderson-designed hull is solidly constructed and shaped for lively performance and a smooth ride, even in rough sea conditions. On deck, dual helm stations deliver the ultimate in comfort, control and visibility for the captain. Hunter's stainless steel Traveler Arch, B & R rig and a unique double ended mainsheet system provide the crew with effortless sail handling. The large galley will enable you to create memorable meals from provisions held in the huge storage areas. An expanded aft stateroom features a queen size berth, large hanging locker, fresh air ports, storage galore and private access to the aft head. Forward, your guests will enjoy the Pullman style cabin with a side mounted double berth and storage for two. The open vanity is separated from the private head and shower located in the forepeak.

Annalee Sailing Adventures 

We have sailed Annalee as far south as George Town, on Great Exuma Island in the Bahamas and as far north as Northwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island in Maine, but some of our favorite sailing memories are as simple as our Friday evening sails to Worton creek.  Once there we would drop the hook and spend the weekend with our boating friends. We always looked forward to what became a tradition of spending Memorial and Labor Day weekends on nya mooring ball in Annapolis. Enjoying the sights and energy of the city.  On top of all that we have also enjoyed many 10-day to 2 week vacations exploring the Bay from the C&D canal down to Cape Charles, Va.  Annalee is well equipped and ready for the next adventure.
